OneMacon launched a new podcast series, “OneMacon Way,” focused on encouraging collaboration and sharing the success stories and lessons learned in community-wide master planning. With the launch, the alliance of private, public, and nonprofit organizations committed to the growth and prosperity of Macon-Bibb fills the void of a community podcast dedicated to the strengths and achievements in Macon.
In this premiere episode, audiences all over the world can hear how Macon is creating a new culture of connectivity through walking and cycling, and how these efforts have now achieved international recognition. The guests on this episode include Kathryn Dennis, co-chair of OneMacon, Lynn Murphey, Macon program director for the Knight Foundation, Josh Rogers, president of NewTown Macon and Rachel Hollar, executive director of Bike Walk Macon. The “OneMacon Way” is hosted by Alex Morrison, executive director of the Macon-Bibb Urban Development Authority.
“The new podcast series for OneMacon showcases our spirit of collaboration, combined with the use of technology, to share what is happening in Macon – and how it is happening – on a global media platform,” said Kathryn Dennis, OneMacon co-chair.
